The papaya trees here are amazingly productive - this tree was so short that it looked like its own fertileness had weighed it down! too bad the crops we are working with aren´t this successful. If you click on the photo and look up near the top, you can just barely make out the flowers.
We are working with a group of local women in the cooperative warehouse to shell the ginormous bags full of peanuts for our study, so the photos might be a bit sparse for a while...

They are so green and look enormous. Can you eat them? Can anyone go up to these trees and harvest?
they arenºt quite ripe, yet... but they are super tasty when they are ready. and then you eat mangoes for pretty much every meal until theyºre gone, since there are mango trees EVERYWHERE and theyºre all bursting with fruit.
