Nampula - those yellow flowered trees are acacia! real acacia, like giraffe food acacia!yesterday we drove two hours past the mountains you see there in the back and saw the farms I'll be working with. It was like National Geographic - stunningly beautiful and gut-wrenchingly awful all at once.
Those hills are called the Sleeping Old Man - though from this angle, i don't think it looks like a man at all...

its the view from the window at work! also, i didnt see the old man either, his head is the right and the protrusions in the mountain are his lips.
from where i work! this is only the fourth floor, too.
Yay blog! When Jen sent me the think, I thought "Nutupyo" might be the town you're staying in. HA! I'm going to call it that, anyway, regardless of where the hell you are.
Whoa. Look at that gorgeous sky. It reminds me how much my soul really misses things like high clouds and dry sky. Keep the posts coming! Especially the foodie kind :) Yum.
